The Opioid Addiction Crisis in America

Emory presented a town hall discussion on America's opioid crisis hosted by nationally renowned NBC and Wall Street Journal pollster Peter D. Hart. Following an introduction from Emory President Claire E. Sterk, Hart presented findings from the North Carolina "Conversations with America" focus group session on opioid addiction and engaged the audience in a town hall discussion with Debra E. Houry, director, CDC National Center for Injury Prevention and Control; David Laws, founding member of Georgia Overdose Prevention; and John C. "Jack" Killorin, director, Atlanta-Carolinas High Intensity Drug Tracking.
