End of the Spring Semester
Dear Emory Community,
In a few days, our graduates will gather on the historic Quad with family, friends, faculty, and staff for Emory’s 178th Commencement.
During this spring semester, students have dedicated themselves both inside and outside of the classroom. Faculty have put their energy into teaching and mentoring, while pursuing groundbreaking scholarship, research, and creative works. And staff have gone above and beyond, powering our mission to serve in countless ways.
Soon, you will switch gears for the summer and immerse yourselves in work, projects, internships, travel, family time, vacation, and much more. The pace will change, but what I’ve learned about members of the Emory community is that you always find a way to make an impact. I know that will be true in the coming months.
For those staying for the summer as well as those returning in the fall, I look forward to seeing you on campus.
For all our graduates, my deepest congratulations on your milestone achievement.
Sincerely,
Gregory L. Fenves
President
