Thank you, Emory Men’s Basketball

Dear Emory Community,
For four wonderful weeks, Emory Men’s Basketball has taken us on a thrilling ride as they progressed through the NCAA Division III basketball tournament and on to the championship game. While the results weren’t as we hoped, we’re proud of this outstanding group of student-athletes and all they’ve accomplished on the court and off. The Eagles first-ever appearance in the NCAA championship game topped their most successful season, a record 27 wins and a first-place finish in the UAA conference with a 22–3 regular season record.
As we prepare to bid goodbye to our departing seniors at Commencement, I wish all 400+ Emory student-athletes the best in their athletic endeavors and in their lives going forward. Always remember to Fly Higher, Eagles!
But we’re not finished yet. Grab your Emory Eagles and NCAA Championship gear to commemorate this historic run. You are also invited to join the Celebration of Excellence, April 17, from 4:30–6:00 p.m. on the Quadrangle, to congratulate all our wonderful Emory student-athletes and their teams' top eight finishes in the post season this year. We hope to see you there!
GO EAGLES!
Sincerely,
Justice Leah Ward Sears 80L
